About me
Thank you for being here. My name is Samira Pourhassan, and I work at the intersection of psychology, lived experience, and relational presence. In practice, that means drawing from both training and experience, and staying attentive to what is unfolding between us and within you. I’m interested in the moments where something becomes visible, not through analysis alone, but through contact, awareness, and the capacity to stay with what is present.
I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology, with research focused on understanding psilocybin experiences from a psychological perspective. My training includes psychedelic support and integration approaches, along with a foundation in relational and trauma-informed frameworks.
My background in philosophy and years of teaching critical thinking to children have shaped how I understand change as something that emerges through dialogue, reflection, and relationship, rather than through instruction alone.
My work focuses on supporting individuals in making sense of altered states of consciousness, particularly psychedelic experiences, and how what emerges continues to show up in daily life.
I do not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment, and I do not provide or supervise the use of any substances. This work is supportive and educational and is not a substitute for licensed mental health care.
